My wife and I have been on the road for 55 days and this motel was a highlight. We were skeptical because of the price and the photo of the outside but decided to try it because of the reviews. Everything positive that others wrote, we found to be true. The motel is old, the room is simple, spacious and clean. Bruce is a character; sweet, kind and generous. We loved our stay.

I stayed here for a few weeks while in town for work. It's clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located. Bruce, the owner is a great host and clearly takes pride in his work and enjoys it, too. To top it all off, the price is excellent. So many of these types of motels in small towns can be pretty ratty and run-down. This is not the case with the Northside Motel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Highest possible recommendation. 10/10. Would definitely atay again.
We had a great experience at the Northside Motel. It's a genuine "mom and pop" establishment, and you can feel the care they put into making sure guests are happy. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, with a rustic, old-school feel. The beds were also very comfortable, providing a great night's sleep after a long day of travel.
Nice spot to stay if you’re in the area! The owner Bruce is incredibly accommodating. He dropped what he was doing to come down and get me a room at the last minute. He’s a funny guy and will happily refer you to the best eating spots in town. For fifty/sixty bucks you’ll get exactly what you pay for in a motel room. It was some of the best sleep I’ve ever gotten at a motel—the beds are super comfortable! When checking in with Bruce, be sure to ask for extra shampoo/soap. The internet works albeit a little slow. And as a final tip, check the alarm clock before going to bed—the last guest might’ve left their alarm on! :)
